Chapter 49 contributes to the Westchester community by providing six scholarships of seven hundred dollars each to graduating High School seniors who are children of active duty service veterans. Chapter 49 also focuses its efforts on their Basecamp Westchester Program. This program’s mission is to provide services that assist homeless veterans in becoming independent members of society. Chapter 49 works with other organizations to support homeless veterans of the United States armed forces.
